As well as offering free access to several self care strategies (you’re welcome to sign up for as many as appeal), this page will help you navigate through some of the ways in which you can use this site and my services to support yourself by becoming your OWN self care coach.
It doesn’t mean you can’t also work with me but I hope you’ll find these resources beneficial, too.
All of my work is focused around help you take better care of your Self ~ working with the mind, body, heart and soul.
Mindfulness (awareness of the present moment) and regulation (psychoeducation and practices to help you use what doesn’t feel good to improve things and potentially transform your life and work) are key components.
I hope my writing, audios and videos will give you ideas and help you reconnect with things you already know work for you.
Here are some other ideas:
For the past few months, I’ve been sharing additional self care tools to support people in lockdown and with Covid self care tips and advice (plus two free sessions each week). I hope you find them helpful and welcome any questions / ideas re what you’d like more of for future posts and videos.
I blog (sometimes with video) most #selfcaresundays and #wednesdaywisdom – these blogs offer a range of ways in which you might better support yourself and you can read them HERE
Freelance since 2004, I regularly contribute to national and international titles as a freelance journalist and sharing self care advice. You can read a selection HERE
I was a regular on BBC Essex for years and have also shared self care tools on other radio stations and TV. You can listen to and watch selected interviews and clips HERE
As a member of BACP’s Coaching Executive from 2014 to 2019, Chair from January 2017 to November 2018, I presented at a few BACP conferences and events which were filmed. You can view some selected clips where I share self care tools for trauma and for therapists HERE
I regularly share on my Facebook page, twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Obviously, social media isn’t confidential but if you comment or connect in any of these ways, I’ll give no indication that you are or have ever been a client / supervisee / yoga student (if you have been).
If you’re a counsellor, therapist and/or coach yourself, you might find my free Facebook group for multiskilled therapists and coaches helpful.
And, of course, if you would like to work with me, you can potentially do this too.
