Are you feeling helpless and hopeless about the world we live in?

With SO many people suffering so much and seemingly endless cruelty, it’s easy to feel discouraged about humanity as a species but there are many, many people doing what they can to help make a better place for everyone.

Supporting social justice, peace, equality and more.

As we continue our journey with the Solar Plexus and our sense of personal power, we’re working with social justice and members of the Embodied Wellbeing community are going deeper with a range of mind body practices including self paced self care recordings of an introduction to the theme, unique yoga nidra (with emphasis on a more global sankalpa – positive intention or resolve), EFT Tap Along and a confession from my own yoga mat (before and after an injury limited practice to remind you that it’s always better to do something (gently, with patience and compassion for yourself and your circumstances) than nothing.

We’re wired to thrive when we feel safe, welcome and loved. It’s basic Polyvagal Theory Your whole self is welcome in the Embodied Wellbeing community – join today at

Whether you’ve been glued to the news or avoiding it, let it OUT. All of it. Let yourself rant, cry, whatever needs to come out.

We’re living in unprecedented times where we have access to SO much information about what’s going on in far off places and yet it’s too easy to feel helpless and hopeless.

Sending Metta (Loving Kindness) can help too.

Joining existing groups or setting up your own can also be a wonderful way of using your compassion to not only be of service but to help yourself feel less helpless and hopeless.

It can give us a bigger ‘why’ in terms of motivation and you might surprise yourself with what you manage to do on others’ behalf.

What does your writing (or sketching) tell you about a potential next best step?

Do some Tapping (EFT) on yourself with whatever emerges (you can access bespoke videos through the Embodied Wellbeing community but you can also access free videos HERE)

The Feel Better Every Day Podcast

This week’s podcast guest, Leonie Dawson, is a brilliant example of someone who is prioritising self and Self care (because she’s learned that she absolutely HAS to) while also making an incredible difference in the world by being her whole self and welcoming others’ whole selves (and supporting social justice and environmental causes).

Whether you’re ready to empower yourself and leap (or take a baby step) into action or you’re doing the inner work to be a force for love on the planet and honouring what you can and can’t do, what springs to mind reading this?

What one thing will you do to empower yourself to help make the world a better place this week?
