This Tune In* Tuesday post is designed to remind you how easy it is to connect with your whole Self (including your body) in a way that feels safe.

*to that highest, wisest, truest, wildest, most joyful, brilliant and miraculous part of yourself

It was a pleasure to present at the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) Annual Conference 2023 on 21st October and I’m delighted to share this EFT Tap Along.

The ‘box technique’ in EFT is often used for trauma work

Instead of using words to describe the trauma (or in this case stress and burnout symptoms), you’re imagining the issue – WHATEVER you choose to tap on – as a box.

Being curious about this metaphorical and imaginary box can help you release energy blocks and completely clear the issue in an even more gentle way.

And, of course, the Triple Warmer tool is super speedy and quick.

Have you tried it? I’d love to know how you get on.

Sunday’s Personal Peace post has some embodied journal prompts to help you learn to listen to your body and understand its often confusing language.

I’ve been talking to my body (and listening) for decades now – you can read this METRO interview where I describe my learning to talk to my ovaries when in daily pain with endometriosis back in my early 20s. And yet I’ve been struggling with a new knee issue for weeks now. I only GOT it this past week. I’m still being gentle with them and understand some of the practical elements that led to the pain but the metaphorical work has been incredibly helpful.

And yesterday’s Embodied Wellbeing post has some trauma sensitive chair yoga from the IACP conference to remind you that it’s never too tight a space to bring some movement and joy into your day.

With love,
