How have you been finding using music to tune into that highest, wisest, truest, wildest, most joyful, brilliant and miraculous part of yourself this week?

Sunday’s Personal Peace post has journal and private vlog journal prompts to help you use music more therapeutically (and joyfully) and yesterday’s Monday Motivation Embodied Wellbeing post has prompts to encourage you to choose tracks for different energies (as well as exploring The 5 Rhythms) – you can read both at evemc.substack.com

I enjoyed yesterday evening’s live Self* care coaching call for the Extra Embodied (Wellbeing with Eve) online membership and guiding the delightful participants through an exercise using musical memories to bypass the cognitive endless stories we tell ourselves and instead connect with tracks to support different stages of current journeys.

I won’t go through the whole practice here BUT, if you want to get a taste of it, ground yourself (press into the soles of the feet, sink into whatever you’re sitting on and allow yourself to feel the earth’s supportive energy holding you), lengthen through the spine and open up to a healing, sacred light source above.

Ask to be guided to a track to support you today / this week / this month / through a specific aspect of your life and TRUST that the track – whatever genre of music it may be, popping up from your mental, all encompassing jukebox – is the right one for this moment.

Listen to it and let yourself MOVE to it.

Reflect (with your journal or private vlog journal) on how it felt to be open to musical inspiration and to connect with the track and this time in your life.

Let me know in the comments (or email eve@selfcarecoaching.net) how you got on.

with love,
