Let yourself enjoy more balance and harmony

With day and night being equal, it’s a great time to simply use this as a guideline and, any time you have a choice to make (what to do, where to go, who to see, what to eat, how to do anything) get curious about whichever option feels most balanced and harmonious in your body as you even IMAGINE it.

This simple practice can steer you towards a deeper sense of peace and ease.

And sometimes, you’ll choose the options that take you away from balance and harmony and THAT can be exactly what you need in some moments, too.

Take some time to reflect

Grab your journal (or any paper – loo roll if you want to literally flush it all away to let go) and without thinking too much, see what springs to mind…

Where are you going?

Where have you been?

What don’t you want anymore?

What are you ready to harvest? How can you bring as much light and warmth into the winter?

What new seeds are you planting?

How might you become a more peaceful, gentle presence on the planet?

Want to go deeper?

When you think of what you’re letting go of, let yourself really FEEL it… the misery… the grief… the pain…

Notice how you feel when you tell yourself [insert limiting belief you rarely question but too often believe here]

Be honest with yourself about victimy attitudes – not to minimise what you’ve been through but to remind yourself that you are a resourceful, courageous human with the power to transform things, even when it feels like too much.

What have been the BENEFITS of holding on to the things (beliefs / behaviours / relationships etc etc) that make you, when you’re honest with yourself, miserable?

How might you find healthier, happier ways to get these benefits?

Meditations

Take a little time to consciously release what no longer serves you and to replace all those energies with the kind of light that will support you into the winter months (in this hemisphere) and beyond…
