‘Self care’ can feel overwhelming. What one thing to prioritise when our needs vary so much day by day? This week’s blog post has some ideas to help you integrate it more fully into your daily routine…

365 Ways to Feel Better: Self-care Ideas for Embodied Wellbeing

When I wrote the introduction to 365 Ways to Feel Better: Self-care Ideas for Embodied Wellbeing (White Owl, 2017) back in 2016, I wanted readers to know that it was meant to be indulgent. Luxurious. Trauma sensitive – sure.

But most importantly, a gentle way to help you connect with your own inner knowing.

After all, whether following the self care ideas by the calendar or opening at random with an intention for the day (or consciously choosing something that resonates from the contents or index), you already have a gazillion things in your own self care repertoires.

Unfortunately, ‘self care’ seems to have become yet another stick for many people to metaphorically bludgeon themselves to death with.

All these lovely, supportive, healing, indulgent, potentially transformative tools can, if used in a bullying, ‘should’ sort of way become punitive. Triggering their own stress responses

You know yourself best

I created the Feel Better Every Day online membership programme to enable me to work with more people than my schedule (pretty much consistently at capacity the last couple of years) allows with one to one work.

I love helping people to tune into their inner knowing, week after week. To truly integrate the self care practices that THEY find most beneficial into their lives.

For some, it’s yoga and/or meditation, for others EFT Tapping, image work, dream analysis, working with crystals or more practical elements from coaching etc etc.

We’re always working with the transpersonal – that ‘beyond the person’ element, the upper case S Self – that Highest, Wisest, Truest, Wildest, most Miraculous Self.

The Feel Better Every Day online membership programme includes weekly live self care coaching calls (including a bespoke Yoga Nidra guided relaxation to help you harness the power of the unconscious mind in relation to the week’s theme) as well as weekly emails and ongoing access to videos from older Yoga Nidras, EFT Tap Alongs, meditations and other mind body practices.

If you’d like to experience any of these for free, you can access a selection HERE

Special offer

To celebrate my upcoming 18th Business Birthday on 8th September, I’m offering membership (for as long as you choose to remain a member) of the Feel Better Every Day online membership for just £18 pcm.

We’re coming up to the 100th week (coincidentally, the week of my 18th Business Birthday!) and I love working with the group, both through the weekly live calls and through the special, private feedback Donkey Deliberations forms members can choose to complete each week for extra grounding and support.
