Hi. I’m Rainbow MagnifiCat from selfcarecoaching.net again.
Holding down the fort while Evie moans about still being surrounded by boxes from the move.
I don’t know why she’s complaining. Boxes are great.
Still, I said I’d give her another break and let her translate some of my feline wisdom for y’all.
See this video? See how I really paws to get the measure of the wall before scaling it?
There’s barbed wire right behind it. We’re in the country now. I love it but am having to learn about sheep and cows more than cars and trains.
Barbed wire was completely new to me and I want to do whatever I can to avoid getting too close to it.
To me, pawsing and checking before making that leap was the obvious thing to do.
You humans go on about our 9 lives but I’m taking no chances.
I don’t care if my little test stretches make me look indecisive.
Too many people leap before they look.
It normally works out great for my human but I also know that Evie could save herself a great deal of stress if she were that bit more cautious sometimes.
Are there areas in your life where, instead of being mindful as to your own intuition and wisdom, you give too much weight to what others might think?
Where you don’t do the human version of the due diligence I did with this wall?
What might you tell yourself when you feel yourself getting caught up in others’ expectations rather than doing what’s right for you?
It may take practice but you too can learn to save yourself lots of trouble and heartache by making sure you know as much as possible about each next leap and even step.
Meow for now,
Rainbow MagnifiCat
