Even the word pampering makes me cringe a bit.

I think of things like pedicures (no way would I find that relaxing) and beauty treatments that hurt.

I don’t even have the patience to have my hair blow dried when I get it cut.

But this weekend – that was my kind of pampering.

Gorgeous sound bath with Puranshant Kaur in the woods.

Yup. We all got to listen to the soothing sounds and let them work their magic on us as we were surrounded by the healing presence of the trees.

And then, we got to thank the woods by doing a litter pick as part of Westport’s TIdy Towns initiative.

This is the kind of thing I MOVED here for.

But wherever you’re based, you might be surprised by the amount of weird and wonderful offerings available to you.

When you think of a kind of pampering that makes you feel cherished and free (as opposed to yet another ‘should’), what springs to mind for you?

Maybe it’s an energetic treatment?

Maybe it’s a yoga class?

A workshop?

A massage?

A spa day?

Let yourself (if you want to) imagine a delightful afternoon or even hour of pampering.

Where are you?

Who are you with?

What’s the best thing about it?

How do you imagine feeling during and afterwards?

How soon can you make such plans in real life?

Big love,
